I’m half Dutch and half Italian, born and raised in Friuli—the northeasternmost region of Italy. I’ve been living in Udine for many years now, home to one of the city’s biggest yearly events: the Far East Film Festival, a major showcase of Asian cinema and a celebration of Asian culture in general.

I created this birthday calendar as a blend of all these influences: the birthday calendar, typical of Dutch tradition; imagery inspired by Asian aesthetics; and Friulian words explained through short texts (because let’s repeat it once more—it’s not a dialect, but an official language!).

It’s a perpetual calendar, so you can use it year after year, and it’s perfect for keeping track of birthdays and anniversaries!
