Format idea, logo design and brand identity
The works displayed are part of a collection of 12 pieces, each tied to an episode of the UDINÍ Live Experience series. Conceived and created by Brodo Studio – an experiential marketing creative studio based in Udine, of which I am a co-founder – the format aims to bring live music to industrial and cultural environments such as factories, museums, and shops. Each artwork encapsulates my personal interpretation of the band or artist featured in that specific episode.
The animated images in this project originate from a single static image rotated on its axis, and the movement creates an illusionary play capable of deceiving the eye. Works created with this type of animation technique are called “phenakistoscopes.” Its invention dates back to the first half of the 1800s and is considered one of the earliest forms of moving media entertainment that paved the way for the future film industry.
